The August birthstone is perfect for this ring.  Peridot is a lovely, clear, bright green and
looks great with the oxidized Sterling Silver.

This one was made awhile ago for myself and I wear it all the time, and now I am offering

Sea Sedge.  It features five Sterling Silver Stalks hammered and formed that sit on a rigid Sterling Snake Chain and are separated by four Sterling Beads.  The neckpiece measures 18 inches and has a Lobster Closure.

It's a great piece to wear with just about anything.  Kind of minimalist but certainly modern....  I've been designing and making these Sea Sedge necklaces since 2007.   Inspired by the ocean flora around San Diego, there are also earrings that I'll fabricate soon as well as a large Sedge and Bead version of this using 12-14 gauge Sterling.  This stalks on this necklace were fabricated from 16 gauge Sterling....

And I always use Recycled Sterling Silver wire and sheet in my work.
