TGIF IN THE STUDIO... Working on some abstract prints. They will be 4x4" on 8-1/2 x 11 inch Archival Matte Paper. I'm also thinking of making them into cards... hmmmm.. Guess you can tell I love COLOR....... And, thanks for stopping by :)
WORKSHOP WEDNESDAY, IN THE STUDIO....... Hi all, I recently completed this little acrylic. It's titled "At Sea." It was just a "study" for a larger piece and done quickly. I always seem to have to do two of everything.... A little sample first, and then the serious piece...no matter what it is. And, frankly, sometimes I like the little sample piece better....go figure! Have a great Wednesday...Thanks for stopping by. Linda :)
Well, it's the start of another great week, I can just tell. While I was surfing the net over the weekend, I came across a site that I had never heard of before. Squidoo..... Obviously, thousands of people have heard of it and perhaps you have also. I'm still trying to decipher it but here's the deal - in a nutshell, so to speak: Squidoo is a site where you can write and share your original opinions and content. Instead of writing a page, you write a "lens." You can write about how to do something, or a new use for something, or something useful that you found online. If you refer to a blog or site where you have referenced an item or tutorial or something useful and one of your readers buys one of their products, you get a commission which you can keep or donate to charity. Nice. Am I making any sense? Well, I'm still trying to figure it out and since this is a busy week for me and I'm not so techie-smart, it may be awhile. But go ahead and try it for yourself and let me know how you like it. Just go to Squidoo.com and give it a try. They have a cute little squid as their logo.... Here's the info: And thanks for stopping by. Linda :)
Squidoo is a community website platform that allows users to create pages for subjects which interest them, and to use those pages to sell products for profit or charitable donation.
CREATE IN THE STUDIO.... Happy Wednesday, everyone. I just finished my newest abstract acrylic painting. It's a big one...40x40 inches. Life is so busy these days, I wanted something that would ground me...I love the colors in this - very sedate, and I like the Zen-like quality too. The title is Calm Water...it just felt like that to me. Thanks for stopping by.
